When we rush, there’s a layer of anxiety on top of our movements. When we are always “on”, receiving and sending emails, text messages, scrolling through social media at 10pm, we are never really creating enough space to invite in quiet, to soften and still the mind a bit from so much thinking and worrying about all sorts of things. Yoga helps peel away the layers of chronic stress.
